Britannic Technologies has launched a new video-based website,
http://www.britannictech.tv/, to give clients and customers easy access to product demonstrations and visual user guides as well as an insight into Britannic’s events. Codehouse has been responsible for the development and design of the site on the Umbraco CMS.
The new website is built into Britannic’s existing
Umbraco Content Management System and uses YouTube integration to show videos of a broad variety of Britannic’s services and products. The site includes presentations, tutorials and interviews - many from Britannic’s annual Convergence Summit events.
Britannictech.tv is both a visual FAQ, giving customers an audio-visual introduction into how to use their Britannic products, and a teaser for the annual Convergence Summit.
The most viewed videos are displayed under most popular videos in the right hand side and all videos are provided with a “views” counter. Additionally, thanks to Lucene Search, visitors are easily assisted in finding the content they are after. They can even filter by tags or categories, or they can just type in free-text and then choose how the results should be viewed.
