Flash + CMS? "Roger and out there!"

In collaboration with Roger, a Danish agency, Codehouse has created a Flash/CMS web-solution for the well-established chain of hairdressers Cha Cha Cha in Denmark. The result is a fully functional Flash universe incorporating online booking, hair spray, webshop, scissors, comb, and a newly developed online magazine engine.

The website is built on the open source CMS, Umbraco, and breaks with the more or less outdated conviction that Flash and CMS do not play nicely with one another. In fact they come together quite well! The web editors at Cha Cha Cha are capable of editing and managing all the text and imagery on the site – in other words they have exactly the same editing abilities as web editors on every other CMS-driven website.

Codehouse has performed the technical implementation and modification of the Umbraco CMS while Roger is responsible for the concept, design, Flash, and the ezine. The Roger + Codehouse alliance has granted Cha Cha Cha a new “flashy” online-presence including a number of valuable features such as online booking, webshop, newsletters, and the ability for visitors to locate all stores.
