Sitecore has announced new enhancements to Sitecore Connect for Salesforce Marketing Cloud at Salesforce Connections, one of the premier customer engagement events of the year.

This follows on from the Sitecore Salesforce integration announcement last year.

According to the press release from Sitecore, these changes mean that organisation using both Sitecore and Salesforce, or who have one but not the other and are looking to make the leap, can deliver hyper-customised experiences by allowing marketing teams to better understand customer behaviour and preferences, and take action accordingly.

Sitecore and Salesforce customers will now get:

  • Flexible work among multiple environments with better personalised experiences
  • Easy access to content, images, and data from Sitecore to enhance Salesforce Marketing Cloud campaigns
  • A single view of each customer, with no need to cross-reference
  • Increased synchronisation between platforms
  • Heightened user insight on customers, creating deeper personalisation at scale

Sitecore Connect is available on Salesforce AppExchange.

According to Sitecore CMO Paige O’ Neill, “The reality most marketers work in today is one of disjointed platforms and information silos, making it difficult to enhance brand experience or create personalised content. The integration of Sitecore and Salesforce Marketing Cloud delivers an enhanced experience across channels, and with our latest iteration, users can better personalise the customer experience, regardless of language, site or country.”

The power of the ultimate in content, commerce, and digital experience management + the world’s number one CRM at your fingertips will be a total game changer.

Robert Begg, VP, Product Marketing for Salesforce Marketing Cloud added that, “The Sitecore and Marketing Cloud integration is delivering powerful results for our customers--especially in the area of personalized web content management. The additional Sitecore Connect enhancements will make it easier for our customers to create personalized content across different languages, sites and regions, and will further help improve cross-channel engagement and analytics.”
