Cataloguing products is easier
Sitecore Commerce 8.2 makes it easier to define the product catalog in the External Settings field. From the new Merchandising Manager, users can now specify whether External Settings fields are stored with the original product or in a separate catalog. By doing this the External Settings field will not be overwritten in the event of a legacy update or from an import.

The addition of analytics to the Experience Profile in version 8.1 gave great insights into individual visitors. Sitecore Commerce 8.2 though, offers even more reporting tools like Best Selling Products, Most Viewed Categories and Shopping Cart Activity.

The latest update, Sitecore Commerce 8.2.1, delivers even more power and functionality. The most notable being the all-new Commerce engine, the addition of which makes version 8.2.1 more scalable and customisable. It also offers web based tools for managing pricing, promotions, customer and order details.
Both Sitecore Commerce 8.2 and Sitecore Commerce 8.2.1 are compatible with the Sitecore Experience Platform (XP) 8.2 update 1
