In its first ever Magic Quadrant for Digital Experience Platforms (DXP), Gartner has named Sitecore a 'Leader'.
Gartner defines a DXP as “an integrated set of technologies, based on a common platform, which provide a broad range of audiences with consistent, secure and personalised access to information and applications across many digital touchpoints.”
Basically, a DXP combines website content management, personalisation, systems and data integration, workflow, and analytics, and allows brands to give customers relevant information, content, and interactions in the right place, at the right time, on the right device, to improve their digital experiences.
Gartner highlighted Sitecore’s strengths as a platform that can address various industries, and its personalisation, context awareness, and analytics capabilities.
In addition to its strength in content management, Sitecore was also praised for its insights and analytics, and its interoperability with other systems.
